According to a new report published by Enigma, 19 agrochemical active ingredients will lose patent protection between 2019 and 2026. With so many products coming off patent, industry players have chances to choose the right off-patent/generic AIs for products development strategy.
Over the last 20 years there has been a decline in the discovery of new active ingredients (a.is.) but, at the same time, there has been a substantial increase in the number of mixture products entering the market.
